BSOC Ball

So I went with impulse and bought this dress for BSOC Ball. The theme is French Affair. At first I was going to wear this:

Which was the dress I ordered from Siren London and just wanted it for casual purposes. When It came it was much nicer quality than expected. It could be formally but I figured it wasn't BAM enough for the Ball.

And so I went with this:

From edressy. I was really unsure about it at first. It's gorgeous but I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off or whether it was going overboard. But then I just said, Fuck it and buy it because I love it and I want it. A little birthday present for myself I guess. So hopefully that when this arrives, it'll be perfect.

I'm not dead, update, clothes

I am not dead! Just this blog is. I don't know why. I really miss personal blogging. Maybe I'll use it as a place to:

  • Make lists (see what I did there?)
  • Write down ambitions, dreams, wants, ideas
  • Post up some short stories or drafts of them from Creative Writing class
  • Post up music that I really love
  • Rant

Anything really. So here is the occasional update that I have failed to do:
  • Semester 2 looks promising. Painting and drawing at COFA, creative writing is getting me really excited about life again and film studies is just something I look forward to all the time
  • I literally JUST passed media. 50. And credits for all else which I am very happy about.
  • I have been shopping. A lot. Here are some examples:

The picture of me in the mirror and the messy room was me wearing these amazing boots. But this is pretty much everything I have bought in the past month or two. Dress from SirenLondon, novels from BookDepository, boots from ModCloth, the picture of my in mirror with jumper and leather shorts are from Chikabootie and the instagram photo was from a shopping date with Milly in Newtown where it has these amazing boutiques.

Also I have found and am in love with a lot of vintage online stores. I am willing to sell my soul for these two:

And I found my dream wedding dress but everyone is telling me it's insane to buy one at my age especially when I have no boyfriend. But it's a vintage, one-of-a-kind wedding dress made by my new favourite vintage designer Mike Benet:

I bought chalk!

YAY! I can draw in my backyard now!

Bought it today also with my new HAIRCUT. Looks like my last one sorta but with subtle difference.

Met up with the girls and walked around doing nothing and buying nothing. Tried on dresses and forced people to wear dresses *COUGHSHARONCOUGH* cause of this years formal. Btw people, why do you buy your dresses now if it's at the END OF YEAR? weirdos xD

And Lukie came around 3ish and we just dragged him around as we went to more clothes shops. Then me and Luke went to KFC, saw Melsie and she suprised us with a drink mixed of every soft drink avaliable at KFC hahaha. Then the girls came and then went home.

STEPH'S GOING TO FRANCE! SHE'S HAVING HER SWEET 16TH IN FRANCE. luckyyyyyyyyyy.

Then the girls left and me and Lukie went to Myer to try find another dress. It was a pretty black one. Didn't buy it tee hee. Then went to bus stop but Luke's dad was gna drive him home so I caught the bus back.

City tomorrow. Kareoke, Caps and food galore! DX

Happy Birthday Party

Wow. Ok lots of planning for one week. Here was the original plan for the day for Mattie's "Suprise" party:

11: Picnic at the park
2.25: The Avatar 3D
5.30:Carols In Domain
Chip In Present: Blue Ipod Nano

After lots of irritation, questions and 5 emails later it changed to:

10.30: Picnic at park. (if piss pouring rain then picnic cancelled)
1: Avater 2D (20$ for 3D)
5:Carols in Domain
Chip In Present: Green Ipod Nano (they ran out of blue)

Lots of buses and threatening rain clouds, card games, soft drinks and phone calls and sneak offs. My favourite part was movies. Avatar is pretty awesome. Happy birthday to Chris and Luke.

P.S. Shoutout of love to God for listening to my prayers to hold off the rain that us mortals predicted for last night at Carols. <3

Back

When does the moment or feeling of going back to school hit you?

Is it when you're buying your stationery and text books?

Or when you're wrapping and decorating your exercise books making sure the cover matched the subject?

Or maybe it's when your friend calls you to see what homeroom you will be in so you run for the mail and see your school fees with the rollcall number up the top.

For me it was carrying my clean washed bag inside the room and then hanging up my wrinklefree, loved and hated school uniform.

Tomorrow is back to school day, the day everyone loves and hates, looking forward to seeing your friends again and the new subjects but then realising that it all comes with the price of hard work, strict teachers, no more sleeping in doing nothing and the end of holidays.

...personally, I love it.

Slagathor and Bondi and Stalkers

Well today I went Bondi with Kait, Steph.B, Leila, Brooke, Kiera, Monique.B and Courtney.P along with Brooke's Boyfriend (Jarrod) and his friends.

On the bus Me and Leila were listening to her ipod and she was singing really loud. omg some randoms were 'subtly' following us. When I say subtle, I mean as subtle as a brick to the head. they were like 1 or 2 metres behind us at all times. Jarrod and his friends were seriously considering going up and bashing them...yay? hahahha. They stopped when we lost them...we think...

Then Leila and Kiera wanted a photo with gangsta boy. He's gangster because of his sunnies (which never came off) and hat. After like, 3 photos we caught a bus to easties, wandered a bit and I came home to find out that Ray got me a MINI GREEN SUPER MARIO MUSHROOM. WOOOOOOOOOOOT! YAYYY. -sigh-

I'll go download that Emo song that Leila was listening and "singing" to on the bus a million times ;P lol.

Fly My Pretties, FLY!

Ok so as you know I was traveling a bit this holidays. First China, Macau and then Tasmania.

First China, I went with my family and the Au Yeung family (Ray, Winnie and their 'rents). It was a friggen 9hr plane ride and since we got cheap tickets we had to pay for meals. But it was ok, we landed in Macau* since the place we needed to go didn't have an airport.

I went to my cousins wedding, if you can call it that. It was more like a tea ceremony followed by more and more eating. It was freezing in Shanghai and we also saw the tird tallest building in the world. We went for a 4 day tour but the younger people only understood cantonese and since the tour guide was speaking mandarin we had no idea what she was saying. We had two tour guides and we named them Paul and Wendy. Yes we gave them english names weven though the chicks english name was already Denise. We went to four star and three star hotels the whole trip and buffets which is a massive SCORE! Hong Kong was really fun too with the cousins and aunties and uncles.

OK things I bought:
  • NDS (Nintendo DS) chip where you can download games and put free games, pictures, music and even shows on your NDS.
  • Boots
  • Giordano Scarf
  • Cool ass Beanie
  • 2 winter jackets
  • Chinese stamp and name scroll
  • AND BEST OF THEM ALL: A SUPER MARIO MUSHROOM SHAPED PILLOW.

OK 9hr trip back to AUS, have a few hours at home and then TA DA! ANOTHER friggen plane but this time to Tasmania. I went with Alan, cousins and grandma. Hahahaha Alan has to call me auntie even though I'm a year younger then him because I'm a generation older. Tasmania was alright, couldn't go to Cadbury Factory because it was booked for the entire week so we saw A LOT of scenery, a cave, mountains, gardens and I SMASHED Alan's whiny ass in Putt Putt Golf but 3 points >.<>

OH and I found out that I'm in rollcall 8A408 with Leila, just need to wait for Mon to tell us what class she's in!

*Macau is like the best asian Las Vegas. Casino's, buffets, hotels and designer brands literally lined up down the hall. There was Gucci, Armani, Hugo Boss, Luis Vuitton, Prada, Tiffany & Co, Swarovski and soooooooo much more. *drool*
